Find Harmony Through Sound

More than just relaxation, a gong

bath can gently reconnect you to you. This is a space where you experience whatever your system needs.

Hello, I'm Rachel, a College of Sound Healing Gong Practitioner.

So, what happens in a Gong Bath?

The Gong sounds slow the brainwaves, taking us into a meditative state.

With the broadest range of tones of any instrument, gongs can rebalance us on every level: physically mentally, emotionally, spiritually.

We can:

Have a peaceful experience;

Feel energised;

Experience space and clarity:

Have a deeper journey where we see visions, shapes, colours;

Clear old energy and emotion;

Rebalance our system;

Receive insights;

Go to sleep.

Every sound journey is completely unique and we each receive exactly what we need.

'Think of the body as being an orchestra of many different instruments, some of which may need re-tuning.'

Why Symphonic Sound?

Why Symphonic Sound?

In March 2020, just before Lockdown, I had my first Gong Bath. It was a profound, healing experience.

In September 2020, I drove to Devon to begin my training with Sheila, bought a gong and some bowls and started my journey into sound.

In October, 2021, I resigned from my teaching post of 20 years to focus on my gong training with Steph and to begin my work as a gong practitioner.

I believe that these beautiful, ancient instruments create a very powerful, therapeutic space.

As well as taking the gongs into local communities, I also work with Local Authorities in Flintshire, Denbighshire and Wrexham to offer sound to schools, wellbeing hubs, mental health support services and care facilities.

I've taken the gongs to charity spaces, such as Friends of the Countess of Chester Country Park, Land Trust; have supported organisations such as Urdd Gobaith Cymru with their staff wellbeing days and joined North Wales Interfaith on the Main Stage at the International Musical Eisteddfod in Llangollen.

I occasionally collaborate with aligned, trained practitioners who want to include sound in their retreat programmes and wellbeing events.

I also offer sound for corporate wellbeing packages.

If you're interested in any of my services, let's chat.

Training

Sound is so powerful which is why it's really important that you work with a properly trained, insured practitioner.

My training with Sheila Whittaker and Steph Healy through the College of Sound Healing was incredible. Both Sheila and Steph are highly skilled, well-respected sound therapists and tutors for the College.

I am a College of Sound Healing Gong Practitioner.
